A 4-WEEK WORKSHOP SERIES · EVERY FRIDAY IN JUNE · 10:00–12:00
Postpartum decoded
Understanding Your Body Through Recovery
Nobody tells you the whole truth about postpartum. Not what's actually happening in your body. Not why you feel the way you feel. Not that recovery isn't a straight line back — it's something else entirely.
This four-week series is here to change that.
Every Friday in June from 10:00-12:00.

THE PROGRAM
What happens across the four Fridays
Every Friday morning in June, the workshops run from 10:00–12:00, with 90 minutes of guided workshop content followed by 30 minutes of open conversation and community.
Paola combines scientific insight with the kind of honest, grounded conversations postpartum women rarely have access to. No pressure, no “bounce back” narratives — just clear, supportive information about what your body, brain, and nervous system are actually moving through, and how to support yourself through it.
The series is designed to build progressively across the four weeks, while still allowing each session to stand on its own if you join later or prefer to attend individually.
05 JUNE · WEEK ONE
Your Body as a System
Why most postpartum advice falls short. How hormonal changes, tissue repair, brain restructuring and nervous system recalibration all happen at the same time — and why recovery is a spiral, not a sprint.
12 JUNE · WEEK TWO
Your Brain and Nervous System
The neuroscience behind the fog, the identity shift, the intrusive thoughts and the anxiety that feels different now. Why this isn't a breakdown — it's a metamorphosis. And evidence-based tools to calm your nervous system right now.
19 JUNE · WEEK THREE
Fuelling and Rebuilding Your Foundation
Why your body feels depleted even when you think you're doing everything right. The hormonal cliff, the minerals you need, the symptoms nobody talks about. Why Kegels alone aren't the answer — and what a real rehabilitation pathway looks like.
26 JUNE · WEEK FOUR
Integration and What Comes Next
Bringing it all together. How everything you've learned connects — nervous system, nutrition, identity, physical recovery — as one system. A personalised roadmap for what comes next, and the community you've built to walk alongside you.

Paola Carillo Bustamante
YOUR HOST
Paola Carrillo Bustamante is a computational biologist and biomedical engineer whose work sits at the intersection of rigorous science and women's lived experience. As a mother, she knows firsthand how little of this information reaches the people who need it most. Her mission is to change that — translating the real science of postpartum into clear, honest insights that women can actually use. She brings the same depth to every session: the precision of a researcher, the warmth of someone who has been there, and an absolute refusal to oversimplify.
